VA Home Loans-Knowing where to get the best help

Even though I am Canadian, I have relatives and many friends that are American, so often we discuss political matters concerning both countries. This helps us to stay on top of what is going on in each country and allows us to share our opinions, which we can then discuss with other people.

The other day was a holiday for my American friends in that it was Memorial Day. I have members of my family who have served their country well as does one of my best friends so, over the weekend my friend and I got talking about how we think it is ridiculous the way some people don’t even care to acknowledge, let alone appreciate the tremendous sacrifice that these special veterans have given to help the lives of so many others they do not even know.

My friend went on to say that she has a brother who was trying to refinance his home but due to being a vet, he only had a set amount of income coming in and was unable to work anymore because of an injury he sustained while on duty. He went to the bank and tried to get refinancing. They turned him down and he was almost in tears when he realized he could lose the only home he had known for the last twenty or so years.

My friend decided to do some searching to find out what types of companies specialize in giving veteran home loans and offer loans for refinancing specifically for veterans. Thankfully, my friend did find an excellent financial lender who works closely with the government to be able to guarantee these types of loans and her brother was even able to secure a loan with a lower rate than he’d previously had.

VA Home Loan rates are offered to veterans at the lowest possible rates which are better than market averages as an appreciation for how special they are and their contributions to the country.

It is always so wonderful to hear about companies that try to focus on helping those who have spent so much of their own time trying to protect and care for the safety of others. These heroes should be thanked every day for theirs effort and not just on one or two special days throughout the year. It is because of the strength and actions of veterans that we have the freedoms we so take for granted today.

If you know someone who is a veteran and is looking to purchase a new home or refinance, they can check into a free quote by checking out this link to see how much they can save.

Once again, thanks to all our special people who keep us safe each and every day!

  1. I’m also Canadian with family in both countries discussing the state of our countries is definitely a good way to keep up on political issues. VA loans are definitely a good thing for veterans I’ve noticed at least with my family the paper work is the real kicker on that issue.
