Today though, I would like to talk more about PLR and the use of it. I recently participated in a few giveaway events to see about building up my list some more. I don’t know how much longer though I am going to continue with those types of events though. It seems that there is no new products being put into them. I can sign up to 8 different giveaways and see the same products being given away in each of them.

If PLR can be used in so many different ways to make new products, why is no one using it to create these unique reports? Is it because no one knows how, or is because no one can be bothered?

Think about this. Say you wanted to create a new product. What would be more beneficial and time saving for you:
1. spend hours researching a niche topic and then taking notes, and creating an outline for a new report. Then either writing it up yourself or paying for a ghostwriter to do it. One way would take you about a week or more depending on how much time you had to put into it, and the other could cost you anywhere between $100-$600 depending on how many pages you wanted.
2. do a half an hour of keyword research to see what niche products and information people are looking for. Then go through your plr material and look for some articles on that topic, work through them, get them organized, edited and put together into a new report. This could take maybe a few days. Or if you don’t have anything already on that topic, you could go looking for some plr from a membership or web writer and get it. This would take you a little while longer and would cost a little more but it would be more specific than trying to re-work some related articles.

You can see the point I am driving at. There is no reason that with all of the PLR floating around for cheap or even free a lot of times, that serious marketers who want to get ahead and make a name for themselves, can’t go out and create something new.

I would really like to see more new reports and products coming out on the market instead of the same old things. How can anyone expect to build a list and get new people if the same marketers are telling their list about these same giveaways that have the same freebies available that they saw the last time they joined up. This will in turn make giveaways become extinct and completely useless for list building purposes.

Article directories are websites that house free articles. These articles are usually put there by whoever owns the copyright to them as a promotion method. Each article has the owners byline placed under it so that those who eventually read the article will know who wrote it (or at least who owns it) and will be able to get in contact with or visit their website for further information.

Articles directories are a great place to put your articles so that they will make you money. By using this method, people who are interested in your product or service will see your article, view you as an expert in the subject, and will visit your website. Even if you cannot write or do not have any knowledge on the subject on which you are promoting (for example if you run an affiliate website), you can always hire a writer to do the work for you. Getting quality articles written will be expensive up front, but they will pay for themselves in no time, either through affiliate sales or selling your own services, and everything from then on is pure profit.

Let’s take a real life example. Imagine that you are an accountant working from home. You write an article on an accounting topic and place it on various article directories. Those who are looking for the subject you wrote about will read your article, see that you have the knowledge and skill that is needed to do a job for them, and visit your website or contact you via e-mail. Your article just gained you a new client who may use your services regularly, but will definitely give you a nice profit at least once.

Furthermore, since you have posted it on a free article directory, others who have affiliate websites about accounting will inevitably use your article for their website. Since they must attach your byline to it, this will bring you even more exposure for every website that re-posts your article. You will then be benefiting from the traffic that they get to their website.

There are numerous article directories out there for you to utilize. Your best bet is to put a copy of each of your articles on every one for maximum exposure. It will eventually help to bring more traffic and customers to your website, which will lead to new orders and more profit.

Article Marketing is not an overnight achievement though. You will need to post a ton of articles pointing to the same website link, as well as expect to wait at least 3 months before you really see the benefits.

The more articles there are circulating around on the net, the better chance there will be for people who are interested to find you and click to your site.

Another method of making money is through email subscribers. Here is another giveaway event that can help you.

There has been some discussion of whether or not traffic exchanges really work or are a waste of time. They do work, you just need to know the right type of website to promote. You need to promote a SPLASH page such as an optin form. You have 10-25 seconds to grab their attention.

More people are realizing the benefits of traffic exchanges online today. It seems like a new exchange is starting up every day. How do you know which ones to use? Does the number of members necessarily mean that you will gain more? Is your website a good fit for these exchanges? These are some of the questions you need to answer before you invest the time in signing up.

I have spent the last 6 months trying out about 50 or so exchanges. There are hundreds more that I have not tried, nor do I have the time. I chose some of the big ones that have been around for a long time and have over 50k members, as well as I have tried some of the newer ones that only have 2000 members.

Here are a few things I have learned.

These are the few exchanges I would like to recommend. I did like about 17 exchanges, but I have narrowed it down to my favorite 6. I have tried exchanges that have guaranteed cash amounts for every so many pages, as well as exchanges that just have tons of contests and prizes to be won every day.

Easy Hits 4 U is one of the bigger exchanges. When I first joined I received several signups within the first few days. This site pays you 30 cents for every 1000 pages surfed. My average day I surf about 250-300 pages per site so it took me awhile to get the cash. There are often prizes thrown into the mix. Payout is only $3. Over 146k members to view your sites.

Next I like Hawaiian Hitz. This site is a lot of fun. It is also a no click method. You just run your mouse over the hula girl and the page changes. There is a button that blinks when you have won a prize. You win tons of prizes from credits, banner impressions, text ads, and cash from .03-$20. $25 payout with $2 per each referral. If you refer 5 people you also get an upgrade which gives you more of everything.

Then there is Dolphin Surfing. This is the sister site of Hawaiian Hitz. Just as fun with the same chances to earn money and show up to 5 websites, banner ads, and text links.

Another good one is Major League Hits. This is a fun site. You can earn a penny for every 19 pages you surf. There are lots of contests as well where you can receive double your surf ratio or credits. I would recommend the upgrade option. It is affordable and worth it. I had to grab it. You can choose your surf bar colors which is kind of cool. You need to be careful though. Pay close attention to the area around the images you click, that is where they put the links for the prizes and the pennies, if you do not click on it when it is there you miss out. I think I missed out on about 10 cents before I finally realized that.

Topsurfer is pretty good. You can choose your surfbar. If you do not want to surf for cash, you can just surf, or you can surf with a bingo playing bar, you can also earn credits for clicking on emails sent to you. You receive 2 cents for every 35 pages but there are no contests or anything. $10 cash out, earn credits for playing games as well.

Show N Find is relatively new. This seems to work on the same script as both Hawaiian Hitz, and Dolphin Surfing. There doesn’t seem to be as many prize pages but there is a count down to the pages where the prizes are coming up so you can keep track and then click the link when the proper time comes. Although, you can earn 1/4 a penny for clicking on ads(PTC) within the site.
